Every blow molding project has different priorities. Some customers focus on controlling initial mold investment, while others require shorter cycle time, higher annual output, longer mold life or more consistent finished-product quality. For this reason, our 5–20L custom extrusion blow molding molds are configured according to the complete production project rather than only the external bottle shape.
Before recommending a mold solution, we evaluate product capacity, dimensions, resin, target weight, handle design, neck structure, machine model, die head specification, expected output and final application. The molds can be customized for HDPE bottles, jerry cans, chemical packaging, lubricant oil containers, detergent bottles and other industrial plastic products.
Available mold materials include S50C, P20, 2316 stainless steel, S136H and 7075 aluminum. Beryllium copper inserts can also be added in selected areas when improved cooling performance is required. Customers can provide a physical sample, technical drawing, 3D file or detailed product dimensions.
Based on this information, we can discuss cavity structure, cooling layout, mold material and production requirements before manufacturing. This project-based approach helps reduce mismatches between the mold, machine and product, making the final solution more suitable for actual factory conditions, current production goals and future capacity planning.
