DAWSON
OPTIMIZED MOLD DESIGN FOR PRODUCTION EFFICIENCY
Cooling performance is an important factor in plastic molding. A suitable mold design helps manage heat transfer, maintain product consistency, and improve production efficiency. DAWSON provides customized mold solutions based on product geometry, processing conditions, and machine specifications.
Our team considers mold structure, cooling requirements, and material characteristics when evaluating a project. The goal is to develop a practical design that supports stable molding conditions and reliable product quality.
MATERIALS AND COOLING PERFORMANCE
Aluminum 7075 offers good heat transfer characteristics and may be suitable for selected mold applications. Beryllium copper inserts can also be considered for areas requiring improved localized heat dissipation.
Other material options include S50C, P20, 2316 stainless steel, and S136H. Each has different properties, and the appropriate choice depends on the molding process, product requirements, durability expectations, and budget.
Injection molds for plastic preforms and blow molds for hollow containers require different designs. Material selection and cooling arrangements should therefore be confirmed for the specific application.
