Stable mass production requires more than a mold that can successfully produce one good sample. For industrial blow molding projects, the mold must maintain repeatable forming quality throughout long production runs and changing operating conditions. Our 5–20L custom extrusion blow molding molds are developed for HDPE jerry cans, chemical containers, lubricant bottles, detergent packaging and industrial storage containers.
During mold design, attention is given to cavity accuracy, parting surfaces, flash control, neck forming, handle areas, bottom structure, venting and cooling layout. These details can influence product appearance, wall thickness distribution, demolding performance and overall production stability.
Material options including S50C, P20, 2316 stainless steel, S136H and 7075 aluminum allow the mold configuration to be matched to different production volumes, budgets and operating requirements. For applications requiring improved heat transfer, beryllium copper inserts can be added in selected areas.
We also consider the customer’s blow molding machine model, die head size, product dimensions, resin and target output before finalizing the mold design. By matching the mold to the actual production system, the objective is to reduce adjustment time, improve repeatability and support stable continuous production instead of relying on frequent operator correction.
